US Navy Disables Iranian VLCC in Gulf of Oman Incident
Splash247 reports that a US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet launched from the USS Abraham Lincoln has disabled the Iranian-flagged VLCC Hasna in the Gulf of Oman. The aircraft fired its 20 mm cannon at the ship's rudder after the vessel allegedly attempted to breach the American naval blockade of Iran's ports, according to US Central Command.
